Product Description
The paper-based friction pairs are widely used in the multidisc wet clutches in the transmission system of commercial and civil cars. Paper-based friction material has porous microstructure, enabling the lubricant to reach the contact interface and providing lubrication. As power shift and torque transfer devices, wet clutches frequently work under extremely poor working conditions, for instance, high initial relative sliding velocity, high surface pressure, and high temperature rise. It is essential to investigate the frictional performance of friction pairs to optimize the design of wet clutches and improve the performance of vehicle.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the primary materials used in your friction discs?
Our discs utilize a high-performance blend of 45-55% fibers, including aramid fiber, carbon fiber, and composite reinforced fibers, combined with functional raw materials and specialized fillers.
What is the thickness range for the paper-based friction material?
We offer a thickness range from 0.6mm to 2.5mm, with a maximum diameter capability of up to 600mm.
Which industries are these friction materials suitable for?
They are widely used in engineering machinery (excavators, loaders), agricultural machinery (tractors, harvesters), logistics (forklifts), and the automotive industry (wet clutches and brakes).
Do your products meet international quality standards?
Yes, our products are ISO9001 certified and comply with multiple industrial standards including GB/T 13826-2008 and GB/T 37208-2018 for wet-type friction materials.
Why is the porous microstructure of paper-based material important?
The porous microstructure allows lubricant to effectively reach the contact interface, providing essential lubrication and heat dissipation during high-pressure and high-temperature operations.
Can you provide customized sizes for OEM requirements?
Yes, we specialize in producing customized friction discs for OEM customers, supporting a wide range of specifications for various machinery brands.
